Photo Journalism

Doug has recently discovered the world of photography and in the last 48 hours has cataloged his life through the art of photo journalism.  If you've ever wondered how a 4 year old views the world, wonder no more.  I only put one on here, but most of the pictures are of the TV.  Hmmm....

At the Circus

We took the kids to the Circus back in March.  I didn't want to take my big camera because it seemed like too much hassle, so all of these were taken by the inferior point and shoot cannon.  Considering the fact that I had blue icee dumped all over me, including up the sleeve of my jacket, and then shortly thereafter was peed on by Natalie the diaper Houdini, I would have to say it was probably the best outing we've had in years.  Going to the circus is a good way to blow a wad in just a few short hours.  Good thing it was the Shriner's circus so I didn't feel too bad about that.

Garbericks

This is my first attempt at photographing large groups of adults on a backdrop.  The consensus: it might be time to get a larger backdrop.  Thanks heavens for the magic of photoshop.  Also it has recently been brought to my attention that if I'm not standing next to her most people think that Ashly and I look like twins.  I thought we grew out of that.  For the record, that is Ashly in these pictures, all of them.  Not me.  Or perhaps that's just what I want you to think.  This could be my secret Canadian family.
