Baby K-rav

A new cousin!  This little guy was born just this morning weighing in at a hefty 6 pounds 13 oz and 20.5 inches long.  Glad he's her but nearly as much as his mom who can breathe  and tie her own shoes once again.  

School Days

Natalie had her first day of preschool on Thursday.  These are before and yes she was still this excited/happy when I picked her up.  Doug on the other hand is another story...take this morning for example:

"Well Mom, do I have to get ready for school now?"
"No.  Today is Saturday.  There is no school on today."
"YES!!! No school! WOO-HOO!!! No school today! No school today!"

He has also told me on more than one occasion that he can't go to school because he's sick. (insert fake cough)  On the other hand everyday he asks me to just drop him off and he jumps out of the car and runs straight to his classroom.  Go figure.

Charlie

This little sweetie is only about 11 weeks old but I can already tell that she loves surprises.  In fact she likes them so much that she decided to show up 10 weeks early.  Surprise!  After a long stay at the hospital she finally got to come home a few weeks ago and for being so old she modeled marvelously.  Because she's my newest little niece she gets to have all large photos (I know, I know I give too much.)  As you can tell by the last photo she is already developing quite a personality.  I have a feeling we'll get on famously as we have so much in common.  (I also hate it when Jared & Brooke kiss me.)

 

 

Family Vacation

So with all the house/moving stuff going on this summer we decided it was best to hang around town instead of taking a vacation.  (lame)  Being an adult is not very much fun most of the time.  Anyway I dragged Greg and the kids up to Virginia City the Saturday before Doug started school and I have to say they had a pretty great time.  I highly recommend  the trolley tour but other than that I guess you just have to pick and choose what you like.  It's been a few years since I've been up there and I was surprised at how much they had to see and do.  Maybe things have changed or maybe my parents were just really cheap because all I remember doing as kid was taking the "walking tour" and eating ice cream.  (burn)

It Had to be Done
