Having a little girl to dress up is pretty fun, but what no one ever told me is that they go from 2 years old to sassy 15 year old over night. Dress, sunglasses, beads. Need I say more?

Beach Day
On the 12th we finally made it up to the beach with Bethany and Presley in tow. It was a hot hot day and the sun was glaring, but we were fortunate enough to make it away with only minimal burns. I also learned something new - spray sunblock is not a great choice. Surprisingly the babies seemed to love the beach as much as the older kiddos.

Baby Schmidt
At just 8 days old this little cutie was the easiest baby I've ever worked with. It sure is easy to like these little babies when I'm not the one feeding them in the middle of the might. Also if the baby cries, poops, fusses, etc. back to mom (babies are so much work).... Maybe I just need a full time nanny or maybe just one the can take the night shift; said every woman who ever took care of a baby in the history of the world. Also in the shoot I was able to capture the ever allusive feet-hands-heart. Turns out it's not that hard to do it the baby is out cold sleeping.

Splash
Last week I took the kids out to the splash park. I knew the older kids would love it but I had no idea how much little Jim would love having water thrown in his face. I seriously have never seen a baby who likes playing in water as much as this kid. Later that day we went to go see a house, which we didn't buy. I'm beginning to think that I will really only like home in the $1 to 1.5million range, which remains out of my reach. Of course I would need a cleaning and grounds keeping staff to go with said home. Ah, shucks go ahead and throw in the nanny and personal chef while I'm at it.
